01 Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BSC ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
02 Use of the Platform
BSC is a spiritual growth platform intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the Platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not misuse the Platform by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material, attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, or engaging in conduct that restricts or inhibits others from using it.
03 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. BSC cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your login information secure.
04 Content and Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including scripture passages, sermons, devotionals, book excerpts, and design assets — is either owned by BSC or licensed from third-party rights holders. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written permission. Your personal journal entries and reflections remain your own property, though you grant BSC a limited licence to store and display them for the purpose of delivering the service.
05 Privacy and Data
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using BSC you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We take your privacy seriously — your personal journal entries are encrypted and never shared with third parties. We collect only the data necessary to personalise and improve your experience.
06 Notifications and Communications
By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails necessary for the operation of your account (e.g., email verification, password resets). Marketing communications such as daily verse emails are opt-in and can be disabled at any time from your notification preferences.
07 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. BSC does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Spiritual content is provided for personal reflection and growth and does not constitute professional religious, legal, or medical advice.
08 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BSC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data or profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, even if BSC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
09 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, BSC, third parties, or the public. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
10 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the territory in which BSC operates. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
